Simone Spagnol is postdoctoral researcher at Aalborg University Copenhagen, where he currently holds a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship. He has previously been postdoctoral researcher at the University of Iceland, Iuav University of Venice, and the University of Padova, where he received a PhD in Information and Communication Technology in 2012. Riccardo Miccini is a graduate student in Sound and Music Computing at Aalborg University Copenhagen. He holds a B. Eng. in Electronics and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. During his Master’s, he has been researching applications of deep neural networks for sound synthesis and speech enhancement. His research interests revolve around machine learning, sound synthesis, and data visualization.
Stefania Serafin is professor in sonic interaction design at Aalborg University Copenhagen. She has previously been assistant and associate professor at the same university. She received a PhD from Stanford University in 2004. She is the president of the Sound and Music Computing Association and the project leader of the newly established Nordic Sound and Music Computing network. More info here.
